The General Post Office is located in the west Bay Area, just behind the Corniche. There are number of suburban and regional post offices, including one at the airport. Qatar's general Postal Corporation operates a "Mumtaz' (EMS) service for speedy deliveries of letters and parcels for both overseas and local mail, in addition to normal postal facilities. EMS acts as a courier service.
